Q: If you are wool sugar, why do you sell Acrylic blankets?
A: Acrylic is 100% hypoallergenic to avoid sensitivities to wool. Unlike wool, it's a synthetic fiber, so it is impossible for moth larvae to digest it. It's durable, sheds less, & is less sensitive to detergents and machine washing than wool. We sell other blankets that blend synthetic fibers with real merino wool, as well as 100% wool models.
Q: My blanket is shedding a little, what do I do?
A: Shedding and pilling is normal with these blankets and is not a defect. Avoid pulling on the pills.
